Lithuanians called those endowed with the ability to predict the future, to read signs sent by the universe, to interpret dreams, to communicate with gods and the world of the dead, and to heal people and animals – the high priests (“žyniai” in Lithuanian, probably originating from the Lithuanian word žinoti – “to know”). To the pagan community, even to the rulers, the word of the high priests meant the word of gods, and anyone who disobeyed the high priest’s orders was threatened with death. The centre of the Baltic cult was in Prussia, in Nadruvia, – Rikojotas, better known as “Romovė” or “Romuva”. Here lived the chief priest known as “Krivis”. Alongside him, in a sacred place called “alkas”, there were more pagan priests, both male and female, called “vaidilutės” (English: priestesses), “vaidilos” (English: senior priests). This place was described in detail by Simon Grunau in the 16th century. The Bychowiec Chronicle tells about the priestess Birutė, who later became the wife of Kęstutis. Written sources also mention a shrine where the Cathedral Basilica now stands in Vilnius. According to a late 14th century bull of Pope Urban VI, in the 13th century there was a Thunder Temple, with a Thunder Idol in it and a twelve-step altar, where the holy fire burned. The contemporary ancient Baltic religious community “Romuva” believes that the altar of the temple is still in the crypts of the Cathedral.

Reproductions of paintings by artists are created using Giclee printing technology on natural cotton canvas. The printing is done only with high-resolution and high-quality photographs taken by professional photographers of the painted artworks. Special software prepares the layout of the printed image, which is then printed on natural, hypoallergenic canvas. The printed canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and coated with a specially designed lacquer for canvas printing, ensuring the longevity of the reproduction, enhancing and deepening the color spectrum, and providing long-term protection against UV rays and environmental factors.
Even the artists themselves will be amazed by the quality of reproductions of famous painters' works, and reproductions of original paintings will perfectly complement the creation of your unique and sophisticated home interior.
